Meet & Greet Session

 

Before scheduling official visits, Goin' to the Dogs wants to meet you and your pets.

 

Let us know a convenient time we may pay a visit to your home. This visit gives you the opportunity to ask your questions and gives your pets the chance to check us out. We understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for your precious pets. They deserve only the best! And happy pets make for very happy pet parents!

Pet Sitting

 

We are happy to visit as many times as your pets want to see us! For dogs, we visit a minimum of three times per day. For cats, we visit a minimum of one time per day. We do not offer every-other-day service for cats.

Our Quality Time pet-sitting sessions include:

  • Feeding

  • Refreshing the water bowl

  • Dog potty breaks/outdoor sniff time/playtime/enrichment

  • Cat playtime/enrichment

  • Cat litter box maintenance

  • Retrieving the pet parent's mail/newspapers/packages

 

Rates:

  • starting at $35 per visit - 45 minutes 

  • $7 for each additional 15 minutes per visit

  • For households with puppies under the age of one year old, the minimum visit time is one hour ($42).

Dog Walking

​

***Special note: I continue to recover from three ankle surgeries and am providing dog-walking services on a case-by-case basis. If your dog does not have excellent leash manners and/or is reactive, I require that you have a fenced area for your dog to have potty breaks, playtime and sniff time. I can make a better assessment at the meet and greet as to whether or not I will be able to provide dog-walking services for you.

"Spend-the-Night-Party"
Overnight Service

 

For pets who prefer to have human companionship during the overnight hours, we're happy to come to your home and spend the night with your pets.

​

We have three Spend-the-Night-Party packages: a 10-hour overnight stay, an overnight stay with one midday 45-minute visit, or an overnight stay with two midday 45-minute visits. You choose the package that best suits your pet's needs.

***NOTE: I am unable to provide 24-hour care in your home.

Also included:

  • evening and morning potty breaks/short walks

  • feeding time 

  • water bowl refreshing

  • evening body massages to help your pets wind down

  • morning playtime

 

Rates:

  • 10-hour overnight stay - starting at $95

  • 10-hour overnight stay with one midday visit - starting at $130

  • 10-hour overnight stay plus two daytime visits - starting at $165

  • For households with puppies under the age of one year old, there is an additional fee of $25 per night per puppy.

Reservation Policy (for all services)

Give us a call or send us an email when you're ready for us to come visit your pets.

 

Reservations

  • Cash, checks, Zelle payments and credit/debit cards accepted

  • A non-refundable deposit of one-third (1/3) of the total for the reservation is due at the time of booking

  • Deposits paid by credit card are charged immediately and a reservation acknowledgement is emailed promptly

  • Deposits paid by check must be received within 5 days or the reservation will be cancelled without prior notice

  • Parties booking within 30 days of the start of the pet-sitting session are asked to pay in full at the time of the booking

  • No refunds are issued for early returns

 

A special note about holiday reservations

Goin' to the Dogs does not charge extra fees for holiday visits! However, we ask that you make reservations for holiday visits as far in advance as possible to ensure that you have a spot on our calendar.

 

Holidays include New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Spring Break and Fall Break.

Referral Program

 

Word-of-mouth is our best advertisement! We'd love for you to tell other pet parents about Goin' to the Dogs and the "pawsitive" experience you had with us.

 

It's easy to become a Goin' to the Dogs ambassador. If you refer a pet parent who books and completes a pet-sitting session with us, you will receive a discount toward your future pet-sitting visits. The more referrals you make, the more discounts you earn. How "pawsome" is that?
